The steps
One step open at a time. Click "Done, next" to move on. The grey boxes show what the screen looks like; they are pictures, not buttons.
On the Canva home page, click Canva AI on the left. Paste prompt 1, or click the microphone and say it. Canva comes back with a few versions. Click the one you like.
Not happy? Type "Try again", or "I like number two, make more like that."
Create an 8.5 by 5.5 inch postcard of Santorini, Greece with a placeholder for a QR code. This is for a mailer.🎤Four versions
- Change the headline to something short that asks a question: "Got equity?" or "Unlock your equity. Travel the world."
- If you cannot click the words, the picture is flat. Click it, then Edit, then Magic Layers, and every piece becomes movable. The Fix Any Image Fast guide covers it.
- Brand tab, Shuffle, until the colors are yours.
- On the back: your name, phone and email, big enough to read. Leave a clear square for the QR code.
- Check the size before you print. If it is off, click Resize at the top.

Back in Canva AI, choose Code before you type. That tells Canva to build a web page instead of a picture. Then paste prompt 2, the one Brad dictated in class, or talk it in your own words: who the card goes to, what the page should teach, how it should feel, and where to find your colors.

DesignImage</> CodeDocCreate a landing page for my website that I can send people to using a postcard...The first version is usually dull, and Brad's was a little gloomy. That is normal. Paste prompt 3 and let it rebuild the page around ask, answer, problem solve. Then add what you want with prompt 4: the simple math for the neighborhood, their choices in plain words, a home search.
Read the whole page out loud once. Anything that makes you wince, tell the AI which sentence.
Click Publish at the top right of the Code window. Change the Site address to something friendly, like "unlock-your-next-chapter". Give it a title in Settings. Publish. Copy the link.

Do not delete that chat. The page lives inside the Canva AI conversation that built it. Delete the conversation and the page goes offline.

Next month, same card, new place: the Sydney Opera House, then the Eiffel Tower. The QR code stays the same, so the page keeps working.

Watch out for
Keep the page open to everyone.
You can pick your mailing list by equity and years in the home. The words people read, on the card and on the page, should be about equity and choices. Never about age or whether someone has kids at home. That keeps you on the right side of fair housing rules.
Make it easy to reach you.
Name, phone and email on the card and the page. If they cannot find your number in five seconds, you just did the marketing for the next agent they call.
A search button made by Canva is only a starting point.
For a search that shows real homes for sale, link that button to the home search on your own website.
Want to count the scans?
Canva's QR code does not count them. If you want to know who scanned and when, make the code with a QR service that tracks scans, and point it at your page.
